The JVB tennis saints fell to the Ursuline lions this weekend but the JVA girls beat Summit Country Day with a score of 4-1. Great job girls!

Lots of Saints showed up to last Thursday’s volleyball charity event! Emmits had the best attendance with 53; Cedar had 48; Segale had 40 and O’Connell had 35. The standings are: Cedar holds on to a one-point lead with 18; Emmits has 17; Segale has 14 and O’Connell has 12.
Tomorrow’s golf match against Lakota is Senior Night! The match is at Neumann Golf Course and begins at 4:00. It is a charity event. Here’s how we’re going to handle this. Gather in the parking lot between 3:15 and 4:00 to wish our Golf Saints—especially our seniors—good luck!! You are welcome to stay for the match, but the “tailgate” counts as the charity event!
We will announce the points for the Walk collection on Thursday at the end of the day!
American Sign Language Club will be having its first meeting tomorrow at 7:30 in Mr. Colant’s room. We will be talking about our plans for the year as well as playing an introductory game. There will be doughnuts! You do not need to know ASL to come. I hope to see you there.
Mr. Rogers will hold auditions for this year’s production MURDER FOR DUMMIES on Wednesday Sept 20 and Thursday Sept 21 after school in his room S-133 at ELDER. You can come either day to try out. If you have questions stop in and see Mr. Colant or email Mr. Rogers.
Spanish Club is gearing up for un año fantástico! Our first meeting will be Thursday Sept 28th in Room 134 (Sra Falk’s room) after school and will go until about 3:15. All are welcome! You do not have to take Spanish to come.
Also, if you are a sophomore, junior, or senior interested in being involved in club leadership as a member of the Spanish Club board, please email Sra Falk by Thurs Sept 21. If there is an overwhelming response, we will hold elections at our first meeting.

On Tuesday night Varsity golf lost to Lakota west with a 174 to their 171. The team low was Kristen Link with a 40.
Last night varsity golf won with a 173 to Badin’s 194. Medalist was Kristen Link with a 39.
JVB Soccer beat Walnut Hills 1-0 and Varsity soccer won 6-0 against Ursuline!
Varsity Tennis came out on top against the Loveland Tigers last night 4-1. Meghan Bain came back and won in a third set that made the match over two hours!
JVA Tennis had a good match against Loveland. Mia young and Erin Stautberg won their courts.
