This year, Catholic Schools Week will be celebrated from February 1 to the 5th.  This year’s theme is Faith, Excellence and Service.  So we are going to do a school service project.  We will be collecting books for grades Kindergarten through 6th grade for the Literacy Network.  These books will help with their children’s reading program and their little free libraries.  All gently used books in this age range would be greatly appreciated. We are going to make this a charity event so let’s get some winning bragging rights for your house and add some charity points to the standings!

Current standings:  O’Connell has 17 points; Cedar has 11; Emmits has 10 and Segale has 7!

Happy birthday today to:  Olivia Hein
