Amy Lynn Rogers passed away on August 24, 2019.  She was just 46 years old.  This scholarship was not created because Amy died.  This scholarship was created because of how Amy chose to LIVE!

From the moment she was diagnosed with breast cancer, Amy battled with courage, bravery, and a positive attitude!  It was a long and difficult 5 years, but Amy continued to help others facing similar situations by donating, writing, painting, and educating those who needed her guidance.  Amy was a true hero to her husband, four children, family, and all of Amy’s Army!

It is in recognition of these attributes that Scott, Hannah, Lydia, Addison, and Nolan established a scholarship in Amy’s name.  So many stepped up to support them, they’d like to help a Seton student experiencing difficult circumstances.  This student should be a positive influence and by their action makes the Seton Community a better place. She is persevering and has decided to “Choose Joy!”

There will be one (1) $1,000 scholarship awarded to and credited to the winner’s tuition for the 2021-22 school year.

Current freshmen, sophomores and juniors are eligible. Nominations can be submitted by Seton teachers and/or coaches.

Deadline for nomination submission is 5:00 p.m. on November 13, 2020, to Lisa Luebbe, luebbel@setoncincinnati.org.
