Students in Katie Meese’s AP Computer Science Principles Class celebrated Computer Science Education Week earlier this month and brought some big ideas to life! 💚👏🏼💻Students coded apps, and these apps were revealed as part of CSEDWeek2025!! They also had a party in class to celebrate! Students brought in treats, listened to music and disassembled a laptop to investigate the types of hardware that let us run our programs. 💻🖥️⌨️🙌🏼🧐💚 Every December, students throughout the county are invited to show how they dive into computer science, highlighting the importance of computational thinking, creativity and problem-solving in preparation for a tech-driven world. Way to go, Saints!! ...

Earlier this semester, Seton Business students competed in the MSJU High School Business Competition, where this year’s theme, “To New Heights!”, challenged teams to design a business plan that included a marketing plan recommendation for a nonprofit organization making a positive impact on the common good.
Congratulations to Liv Eger, Cassie Whittle, Sam Neville, Megan Zirkelbach and Katelyn Wittich who presented their idea, The Glow Collective, at the competition. Their presentation earned rave reviews and was awarded 2nd Place in the competition! 💚🙌🏼👏🏼🥈 One judge noted, “The overall visual presence your team dressed in pink, with professional posters, sample vouchers and a branded slideshow took command over the room. Speaking of branding, your brand was the most well thought out...”. Additionally, Professor of Marketing at MSJ and Seton Assistant Cross Country Coach, Susan Cavanaugh, was present to see 2 of her runners and congratulate the Saints!!👏🏼💚
