Tryouts and placements for the upcoming season will begin in April for the Varsity, JV, Junior High, Youth & Youth Prep dance teams.
Youth & Youth Prep Dance Team Tryouts
For students entering 4th-6th grades in the 2026-27 school year
Dance experience is not necessary to try out.

- Learn combo & teach/review dance elements

Review Combos
Wednesday, April 29
6:00–8:00 PM
- Dancers perform in front of Seton Dance coaching staff
- Every dancer wishing to participate will be placed on either the Youth or Youth Prep team at the end of the placement process

Formal Tryouts
Friday, May 1
6:00–9:00 PM
- Dancers perform in front of Seton Dance coaching staff

The following forms must be turned in by the end of the mandatory parent meeting on May 13:

Formal Tryouts
Saturday, April 11
9:00 AM until finished
- Perform in front of the Seton Varsity & JV Dance Coaching Staff
- Dancers will have individual meetings and be informed of tryout results

Varsity & JV Participation Requirements
All dancers must:
- Be officially registered at Seton High School
- Submit the following:
- 3rd Quarter Report Card (grades are part of tryout evaluation)
Final Forms Clearance Required
Varsity & JV Dancers must be fully cleared in Seton Final Forms with green status before tryouts. This includes:
- Emergency Contact Form
- OHSAA Physical
- Lindsay’s Law
- Concussion Form
- TriHealth ImPACT Testing
