Safe Environment Requirements
All employees, volunteers, coaches, substitute faculty, and contract workers must complete a Safe Parish training session mandated by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. This session, which lasts approximately two hours, outlines key guidelines for the protection of students.
After completing the initial training, participants must stay current by viewing quarterly Safe Parish video bulletins. Failure to remain up-to-date may require retaking the full training course.
Background Screening
Anyone working directly or regularly with students—including employees, substitute faculty, coaches, and volunteers—must complete both BCI and FBI background checks before beginning work. Proof of clearance must be submitted to Seton High School.
- Background checks are required to be renewed every five years.
