As we are now in the fourth quarter of school, it is time to think about the many end-of -the-year senior events and graduation! We are so excited for you and proud of all of your accomplishments. We are looking forward to celebrating with you!
Senior exams will take place on Thursday, May 16 and Friday, May 17.
The senior lock-in will take place at Seton on Sunday, May 19 beginning at 8 p.m. and ending Monday, May 20 at 7:30 a.m.
There are no classes for seniors on Monday, May 20 and Tuesday, May 21.
Mandatory graduation practice takes place on Friday, May 17 during the scheduled assembly block at Seton. We will also have graduation practice on the morning of Thursday, May 23 from 8:00-11:00 a.m. at the Cathedral. All seniors must be present at both practices in order to participate in graduation services. Seniors, please wear your school uniform to both practices and bring your graduation shoes as well. We want all of you to feel comfortable with the graduation ceremony. If a student is ill on either of these days, a doctor’s note should be presented to the main office.
The Marian Service and the Mother-Daughter Breakfast take place on Wednesday, May 22, beginning at 8:00 a.m. in Seton’s gymnasium. We will begin the morning with the Marian Service and breakfast will immediately follow. This event is for seniors and their mothers only. Please RSVP here for the Mother-Daughter Breakfast no later than Friday, May 3.
The Senior Awards assembly immediately follows the Mother-Daughter Breakfast and will take place in the auditorium. Parents as well as guests and family are cordially invited to join us for this assembly, which will begin at 9:45 a.m. and end at approximately 11:00 a.m. For updated information on the awards ceremony, CLICK HERE.
Baccalaureate Mass and graduation will take place at St. Peter in Chains Cathedral at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 23. Baccalaureate Mass is a special liturgy for the graduates. Graduation will follow the liturgy. Each graduate will receive two reserved and six general admission tickets which will be distributed at graduation practice on May 17. Tickets cannot be replaced so please do not lose them. We ask families not needing all of their tickets to turn in the extra tickets to the main office. A limited number of extra tickets are available for families. Students needing extra tickets need to sign up for tickets in the main office by Friday, May 10.
Finally, congratulations and thank you to the parents for your commitment to your daughter’s education at Seton High School. We appreciate your support and all the sacrifices you have made in order to make a Catholic education possible for your daughter. We have been blessed to watch this senior class grow into incredible young women. We look forward to seeing you at our graduation events!
