Academic Departments

Seton High School is proud to provide an exceptional and fully accredited college preparatory program designed to foster critical thinking skills and to challenge each student to excel both in and out of the classroom.

In addition to rigorous studies in Religion, English, Social Studies, Mathematics, Science, Health and Wellness, and World Languages, students also have opportunities to explore studies in Business, Technology, Engineering, and the Visual and Fine Arts.

All courses are college preparatory with most departments offering Honors or Advanced Placement opportunities. Through key partnerships with Mount Saint Joseph University (Advanced Placement and Early College Credit) and the University of Cincinnati (College Credit Plus), students have the ability to earn 60 college credits while in high school. Students have additional opportunities to earn up to 15 stand-alone credits through other Advanced Placement courses. Seton High School offers a robust Honors Program designed to challenge motivated students and all students participate in ACT preparation as part of the school day. In addition, a Student Support Services program is in place for students with specific learning disabilities to help all students succeed and thrive in the classroom.

Our goal is to provide each student with the academic rigor which will engage her in the learning process and challenge her to become a successful lifelong learner.
