What to watch: Kelly Crowley's squad was the 2020 GGCL champion outright and started last season 6-0, including a win over eventual Division I state semifinalist MND. The Cougars were able to come back and beat them last Nov. 4 in the regional semifinals.
Senior libero Courtney Fitzgerald is back after making GGCL second team a year ago and recorded 502 digs, second-best in the league. Senior outside hitter Lydia Rogers was fifth in the league in assists with 557.
Seton will host Turpin Saturday, Aug. 20 before starting their GGCL menu Sept. 6 against St. Ursula. They defeated MND early last season and will take on the Cougars in Reading Sept. 8.
