Tablet PC Program
A commitment to forward thinking starts with putting the latest technology at our students' fingertips. Each student is issued a Tablet PC before her freshman year begins. At this time, she will receive training in the best practices to use and maintain her computer. When the student is given her Tablet PC, it is fully functioning and equipped with Windows XP. The PC can connect to the Internet both on Seton's wireless campus and through home Internet connections. Each Seton student can access four years of support on campus before she takes ownership of her PC upon graduation.
Beyond the Tablet PC
Seton's technological vision goes beyond simply providing a laptop computer to each student. Teachers and students are encouraged to push beyond their comfort zones and achieve a truly forward thinking learning experience. Beginning in the 2011-2012 school year, each student will keep an online portfolio of all her high school work. From research papers to art projects to spiritual reflections, Seton students will have all their high school academic achievements readily available at a secure website.
