Honors Program & Scholarship Details

Class of 2022

Due: November 10, 2017

Students who complete the Application and Admission Process, including submitting the essay response will be considered for the following scholarships:

The Honors Program recognizes students for academic achievement, Christian leadership and service to others. Candidates will be chosen from the incoming freshmen by a selection committee based on:

  • Academic achievement, Christian leadership and service to others as evident through Admissions Scholarship essay response.
  • Cumulative average of 85% or higher and no grade below a 78% on a report card.
  • Completed the Seton Application/Admission Process including essay.
  • Minimum score of 85% on the HSPT.

Candidates will be chosen by a selection committee based on:

  • Academic achievement, Christian leadership and service to others as evident through Admissions Scholarship essay response.
  • Completed the Seton Application/Admission Process
  • Minimum score of 80% on the HSPT.

The candidate will be chosen from the incoming freshmen by a selection committee based on:

  • Demonstrating good academic standing, Christian leadership and service to others as evident through the Admissions Scholarship essay response.
  • Completed the Seton Application/Admission Process including essay.

One-year Scholarships will be awarded to incoming freshmen, sophomores, juniors & seniors funded through the support of our amazing Alumnae!

Candidate will be chosen by a selection committee based on:

  • School spirit, leadership and service to others as evident through Admissions Scholarship essay response.
  • Does not receive financial aid or other scholarships (verified by Seton)
  • Completed the Seton Application/Admission Process (incoming freshmen)

One-year scholarships will be awarded to incoming freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors.  This scholarship recognizes students who exemplify the true meaning of the Seton Sisterhood, are supporters of Seton, show their school spirit with pride. Recipients are nominated by teachers or principals.

Criteria:

  • Involvement in school organizations, clubs and/or sports.
  • Students working to their ability academically, maintaining no lower than a C average
  • Does not receive financial aid or other scholarships (Seton will verify the eligibility of each candidate via student FACTS accounts.)
  • Completed the Seton Application/Admission Process (incoming freshmen)

Nominations: 

Current Seton freshmen, sophomores and juniors can be nominated for this scholarship by:

  • Fellow students
  • Seton Employees - Academic Advisors, Teachers, House Deans, Coaches or Staff Members

Current 8th grade students:

  • Grade School teachers and principal

Each student applying for scholarships to Seton High School is required to write an essay no more than one page, double spaced, 11 pt Times New Roman font answering the following questions:

What does Christian leadership mean to you?

How have you demonstrated Christian leadership in your own life?

All completed applications are due by 8:30 a.m. Friday, November 10 

Completed essays can be attached to the online Admission Application or mailed with your hard copy application to:
